Rock Hall is a small harbor town on the Chesapeake Bay in Kent County, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore. The village is built around its working harbor and marinas, with a short main street of restaurants and shops, and homes spread along the creeks and the bay shore.

Route 20 is the main road, running southeast to Chestertown, where it meets Route 213. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge is reachable by way of Route 213 and US-301, and Annapolis lies across the bay. Trips toward Delaware use Route 213 north and local roads.

The water is why most people look here. Boaters use the harbor and nearby creeks, and Rock Hall Beach on the bay is a spot for a walk. Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge, at the southern tip of the neck, has trails and birdwatching, and Tolchester Beach is nearby. Groceries and everyday needs are in town, with a larger selection in Chestertown.
