Millsboro is a Sussex County town on the Indian River, southwest of Rehoboth Beach and about halfway between Georgetown and the ocean. It has a small downtown by Millsboro Pond and Cupola Park, and much of the surrounding area is residential communities, some with golf and water access, together with farmland.

US-113 runs north and south along the west side of town and Route 24 heads east toward Rehoboth Beach and the Indian River Bay. Route 26 reaches Bethany Beach and Ocean View, and Georgetown, the county seat, is a short drive north. Delaware’s ocean beaches are an easy drive, and Salisbury and Ocean City, Maryland, are reachable via US-113 and Route 24.
